Shine Integrated Therapy Time for a Change Package can help you increase positive healthy behaviors to lose weight, increase your physical activity level or change your eating habits. We will walk you though the roadblocks to change whether they are mental, emotional or environmental and help you develop a comprehensive detailed plan that you can implement to improve your physical and mental health.
The Lifestyle Change Package includes six 50 minute sessions with Betsy Clark, licensed clinical social worker and personal trainer. We will lay the groundwork and learn the skills that will help you be successful before attempting to make any behavior changes.
Some of the things you will learn include:
- Setting a specific goal and uncovering your true motivation for making a change
- Creating the time and energy for the new health behavior and overcoming barriers to it
- Developing a specific plan of how, where, when, what you will do – and I mean specific
- Self-monitoring your efforts, visualizing the change you are seeking, and changing your thinking so that you are not sabotaging yourselfLearning how to respond to temptation or cravings
- How to stop fooling yourself and get back on track if you lapse
- Getting the most out of exercise or other healthy behaviors
